Traumatic Event Expense Coverage

Effective July 1, 2021, we are introducing a new coverage offering--Traumatic Event Expense Coverage, which covers expenses for counseling and public relations services following a traumatic event.  This coverage has an event limit of $10,000 and an annual aggregate of $100,000.

Crisis Event Expense Coverage

In addition to the new coverage, we have also made some enhancements to our existing Crisis Event Expense Coverage. The coverage changes, effective July 1, 2021 are:

  • • Removing Each Crisis Limit
  • • Increasing the Each Person Limit to $25,000
  • • Increasing the Death Benefit to $15,000

While policyholders are permitted to choose who they want to provide such services, Utica National has partnered with Empathia, Inc. for onsite or virtual crisis counseling and The Castle Group for assistance with public relations services.
