Oneida County Offering Weekly COVID-19 Testing
at Utica National
Oneida County will be providing weekly drive-thru COVID-19 testing through Precision Clinical Laboratories at Utica National Insurance Group’s Home Office in New Hartford.
The Utica National Insurance Group drive-thru test site begins on Wednesday, January 19 at 9:00 a.m.

Drivers should enter on Genesee Street
No appointments necessary
The drive-thru testing will also be offered at the Turning Stone Casino and Resort located at 5218 Patrick Road, Verona, NY 13478. That site will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 18 and will then be available every Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drivers should enter from the Patrick Road entrance near the SavOn convenience store. Prominent signage will be in place for directions.
Both test sites are open to the public and no appointments are necessary.
The PCR COVID-19 test, which is collected and processed by Precision Clinical Laboratories (PCL) in Clinton, is a self-administered nasal swab. PCL is permitted through the New York State Department of Health and certified in meeting all requirements to perform high-complexity COVID testing. Results are usually available within 24 hours of sample collection. Tests are free with most medical insurance providers and the cost is $125 for those without insurance.
